  20. I have a Fireball 1080A and a Conner CP30544, and I have cut the IDE reset
  21. line. Last week I replaced the Conner by a hex speed ATAPI CD-ROM drive (for
  22. testing), and I noticed it didn't work with a fresh IDE cable. But it worked
  23. fine with my cable with cut reset line.

  25. The only problem you can have with the cut reset line is that you may have to
  26. powercycle your machine if you reset it during an IDE access.
