- I have a Fireball 1080A and a Conner CP30544, and I have cut the IDE reset
- line. Last week I replaced the Conner by a hex speed ATAPI CD-ROM drive (for
- testing), and I noticed it didn't work with a fresh IDE cable. But it worked
- fine with my cable with cut reset line.

- The only problem you can have with the cut reset line is that you may have to
- powercycle your machine if you reset it during an IDE access.
